PRESIDENT'S CORNER
Countdown to Showcasse
We are a few weeks away from the Theatre Conservatory Senior Showcase, and we're brimming with excitement! Ms. Price and the faculty are working diligently to get the Class of 2025 ready, and this Friday students will get a chance to see the Seniors rehearse for Showcase.
The Guild plays an instrumental role in hosting college representatives during the two days of Showcase (November 22 & 23), and I hope you will consider volunteering or donating to our hospitality needs. It is such an exciting time for our students and their loved ones (and emotional and nostalgic and a little scary and...). So let's come together to support Theatre Seniors and wrap our graduating families in encouragement.
On Tuesday November 5, Booker T Washington HSPVA will be one of over 400 Voting locations open from 7am to 7pm across Dallas County. Remember, as long as you’re in line by 7 pm, you’re able to enter the Vote Center.
You can use this interactive map to see wait times at all the voting centers in Dallas County. When polls are open, the circles will be green, yellow, or red. Green means little to no wait times and red have the longest lines. https://www.arcgis.com/.../b4061814603441eaa2f7489043e796f4

We don't want to miss an appearance or accomplishment! We rely on our guild members to let us know where to spot a Pegasus in the wild. If your Pegasus is in a non-Booker T production, please let us know. Our talented kids are so busy we need your eyes and ears to make sure we get the word out. Please include viewing dates, ticket links and any other details that will help us spot a Pegasus in the Wild. Alumni are Pegasi as well so keep those tips coming in too!!!
Theatre alum Georgia Starnes (BTW 2020) competed against Dreion in a Battle pairing chosen by Coach Snoop Dogg. You can see Georgia's battle performance using this link. Coach Snoop chose Georgia as the winner and she will go on to the 3-way Knockout Round. In the next Round, the Artists are paired against two other teammates, but the artists pick their own songs to perform individually. The Coaches will choose one winner out of the three, and the Artists who are not selected will be available to be stolen by another Coach. Each Coach will take five Artists to the next round.
