Support the BTW Theatre Conservatory on North Texas Giving Day!
When you give to the Theatre Guild, you’re investing directly in the students, faculty, and programs that make the Booker T. Theatre Conservatory extraordinary. Every dollar fills the gap between DISD funding and the true cost of creating a world-class theatre education—ensuring our students have the resources, experiences, and support they need to shine.
✨ Your gift makes an immediate difference by:
Expanding student access with additional expert instructors in Advanced Acting, Improv, Shakespeare, and more.
Feeding our students during long rehearsals and performances through our Feed the Kids program.
Opening doors to opportunities—like sending faculty to support students selected for YoungArts Week in Miami.
Creating a professional experience with high-quality playbills, concessions, and merchandise at every show.
Connecting students with their futures by hosting college and conservatory reps at our Senior Showcase.
Celebrating our community with spirit wear, social events, and meaningful traditions that keep our families connected.
Supporting seniors through scholarships and post-graduation preparation.
Investing in our faculty with professional development that strengthens teaching and inspires students.
💯 And remember: 100% of your donation goes straight to Theatre Conservatory programs, faculty, and students.
🎭 Together, we can give our young artists the stage, the tools, and the confidence to succeed—at Booker T. and beyond.
👉 Make a plan to donate on North Texas Giving Day and help us keep the spotlight shining bright!

Musical Theater Update
The Musical Theater department is excited for the year ahead! Even with a few changes, it continues to be one of Booker T.’s most dynamic programs, offering events all year long.
All BTW students may audition for MT at the end of their sophomore year, and once accepted, they participate in events that nurture and showcase their love of musical theater.
This year, we’re asking MT parents and families to get involved as we prepare for the November Showcase and Senior Showcase. We need help with sponsorships, fundraising, and providing meals for our students.
If your student is in Musical Theater (junior or senior) or you’d like to support the program, please email Shelley Kirby, MT Liaison, at sykintx@gmail.com to be added to the MT list. Thank you!
Digital Call Board
The Digital Call Board has been updated with current audition information. Follow the link for auditions, assignments and relevant information for students.
Students are also STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to regularly visit the Campus Callboard on the second floor.
Merch & Concessions Volunteer Opportunities
Please help us stock the pantry for Theater Guild concessions sales to prepare for our first sale at the opening night of Terra Nova (September 25). Also, we need 3-4 volunteers to work each night of the show (September 25-26 and October 1-3). We will open concessions one hour before showtime and at intermission.
We will have a training session on opening night so anyone interested in volunteering for future shows should come out and get trained that night!
