PRESIDENT'S CORNER
I'm excited to see everyone Tuesday night at El Fenix at 7:00 (after PTSA) for our Theatre Guild Welcome Dinner! Join us to hear updates from Ms. Price and the Conservatory faculty and learn ways to get involved with the Guild.
We will be downstairs at El Fenix. All parents/guardians of Theatre Conservatory students are welcome to join us. We will be starting around 7pm to give those attending the PTSA meeting a chance to come over from Booker T. This is a causal event where you can hear all about the Theatre faculty's plans and vision for the 2025-26 school year.

2) Complete the form below to purchase a sign. We encourage you to also become a guild member at the Basic, Copper, or Silver level
*If you pre-ordered a sign already but did not pick it up during Flight School or Pegasus Pick Up, you can pick it up at the first theatre show.
Musical Theater Update
The Musical Theater department is excited for the year ahead! Even with a few changes, it continues to be one of Booker T.’s most dynamic programs, offering events all year long.
All BTW students may audition for MT at the end of their sophomore year, and once accepted, they participate in events that nurture and showcase their love of musical theater.
This year, we’re asking MT parents and families to get involved as we prepare for the November Showcase and Senior Showcase. We need help with sponsorships, fundraising, and providing meals for our students.
If your student is in Musical Theater (junior or senior) or you’d like to support the program, please email Shelley Kirby, MT Liaison, at sykintx@gmail.com to be added to the MT list. Thank you!
Pegasus in the Wild!
Kat McElhenie (alumnae) was Deena Naveed in the premier workshop of the musical The Penumbra, "a supernatural tale of grief, identity, and fear, weaving together the story of a teenage girl from a struggling family, a town haunted by child disappearances, and an ancient folktale of love and destruction." The workshop was held at the Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas, Texas on August 20-21.
This story/musical was written by one of BTW's past instructors, Lauren LaBlanc. It received the 2025 Donald Fowler Theatre Arts Memorial Fund grant for innovative work of a theatre by a Dallas-Ft.Worth artist. Check out an article about the project in Broadway World and follow the show on Instagram.
Kat McElhenie is currently a sophomore at The Hartt School of University of Hartford.
Submit your Pegasus in the Wild appearances and accomplishments to communications@btwtheatreguild.com! If your Pegasi is in a non-Booker T. production, please let us know. Our talented kids are so busy we need your eyes and ears to make sure we get the word out. Please include viewing dates, ticket links and any other details that will help us spot a Pegasus in the Wild. Alumni are Pegasi as well so keep those tips coming in too!!!

Creating a professional experience with high-quality playbills, concessions, and merchandise at every show.
Connecting students with their futures by hosting college and conservatory reps at our Senior Showcase.
Celebrating our community with spirit wear, social events, and meaningful traditions that keep our families connected.
Supporting seniors through scholarships and post-graduation preparation.

Look here for information from the PTSA
The 2025 All School Musical is produced by the Booker T Washington PTSA which means questions about Guys & Dolls should be directed to the PTSA and you will find lots of helpful information on the All School Musical page on the PTSA Membership Toolkit website and in the PTSA newsletters. For example, the playbill for the All School Musical is not a Theatre Guild playbill and any feeding of the kids will be overseen by the PTSA.
Tickets to Guys and Dolls are now on sale. You can purchase here.
