This is the ONLY Theatre Conservatory Showcase Event open to the Public including Parents of Seniors. Please come see the short films created by our seniors. This year is unique in that the Film Showcase features ALL female filmmakers!
No ticket required.

The premier improv troupe from Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts will bring you high school hilarity, improvised. Witness the next generation of comedy stars as they prove that growing up can be ridiculously entertaining. Booker T Improv features Lainey Marcuis, Nick Gameros, Myles Schortgen, Bella Cedillo, Bailey Long, Jaelyn Shanea Thomas, Jacob Flanagan, Analise Potter, Nasir Meade, Seamus Slaughter, Alex Mora, Zynae Moore, Ali Blanco, and Dotty Rico.

Senior parents are invited to come to campus after open rehearsal on November 20th to help set up the College Rep Hospitality Space in Ms Jones’s studio (room 174) and the student's lounge in the Senior Cafeteria. (Note that the other shifts that occur during showcase events are not open to senior parent volunteers)
If you plan to volunteer, please sign up! This is for us to know how many we can expect. When you enter through the main doors (circle drive) you are on the same floor as the Hospitality Spaces.

Playbill Ad Deadline for 10 Minute Plays Festival is Dec 1st
What are Student Recognition Playbill ads? They are an excellent way to celebrate a student who is in the CAST or CREW of the show or show your support for Booker T Theatre performances. Additionally, we can have Playbill ads to recognize our support of the BTW staff and faculty.
How do I create an ad? It is easy – just submit the artwork (picture or clipart) and the copy (text) you wish to have with the artwork to the Playbill Coordinator at playbill@btwtheatreguild.com. Or you can create your own ad. Please include the size ad you are purchasing.
What does it cost to place an ad in one Playbill?
Full page 5"x8" $75
Half page vertical 2.5" x 8" $50
Half page horizontal 5" x 4" $50
Quarter page 2.5" x 4" $25
Where can I buy an ad? Personal Ads can be purchased online using this link to the BTW Theatre Guild or you can use your membership benefits for an ad. Theatre Guild membership benefits for guild members at the Copper ($75) level and above include one or more ads.
Does my membership come with an ad? All levels at Copper or above get FULL page student recognition playbill ads (which can be broken into ¼ or ½) as follows:*

Pegasus in the Wild
Submit your Pegasus in the Wild appearances and accomplishments to communications@btwtheatreguild.com! If your Pegasi is in a non-Booker T. production, please let us know. Our talented kids are so busy we need your eyes and ears to make sure we get the word out. Please include viewing dates, ticket links and any other details that will help us spot a Pegasus in the Wild. Alumni are Pegasi as well so keep those tips coming in too!!!
Junior Players' Hadestown: Teen Edition
This is Junior Players 10th annual winter musical. Look closely and you will spot Pegasi in the Wild in the cast including Maxwell Berner, Ashleigh Currie, Alex Mora, Gabriella Noris and Mitchell Walker. Rumor has it that the crew will also include Booker T Pegasi working behind the scenes

What do Theatre Seniors do During Showcase?
All of the actual Theatre Showcase events occur on Friday November 21 and Saturday November 22. The students' schedules depend on what area or areas they have chosen to showcase in. ALL Theatre Conservatory seniors are expected to participate in Showcase. This schedule for Seniors makes it easy to see everything going on including when the Theatre Guild will be feeding Showcasing Seniors & their Junior Buddies.
What is a Junior Buddy?
A Junior Buddy is a pre-selected 11th graders that helps a Senior showcasing in Technical Theatre. The Junior Buddies are expected to be at school on Showcase Saturday from 8am until approximately 2pm (Buddies help take down their senior's display after the Tech Showcase.)
Who takes Theatre Masterclasses?
All Juniors and Seniors in the Theatre Conservatory and Seniors that are part of the Film and Musical Theatre programs sign up for Masterclasses. If a student is participating in the Playwriting & Physical Theatre Showcase, they will take three masterclasses on Friday morning before Showcase. Students that are not involved in that Showcase will have two additional afternoon Masterclass opportunities.
Senior Showcase 2025
Theatre Seniors have their Showcase events on Friday November 21 and Saturday November 22.
The November 11 Theatre Guild Meeting will provide lots of Showcase Information. It is a great way for parents of all students to learn more about Showcase.
How Can Parents of Seniors Volunteer Help with Showcase?
Here are 3 ways.
1. Sign Up Here for Thursday Nov 20 everyone with a senior is welcome! We will meet in the Senior Cafeteria Balcony. 3. Donate directly to Senior Parent and Senior Committee Member Sara Johnson via Venmo @Sara-Johnson-176 to make the take home meals for Theatre Faculty possible. THIS COLLECTION IS FOR A GIFT FROM FAMILIES OF THE SENIORS AND DOES NOT COME FROM THE GUILD BUDGET.
What Can Parents of Theatre Seniors Do On Campus During Showcase Week?
Parents of Seniors have opportunities to watch the actors and musical theatre seniors at dress rehearsal during the school day on Thursday (Nov. 20). Parents of seniors showcasing in technical theatre can see a preview of the tech showcase in The Commons on Friday evening (Nov. 21). The only Theatre Showcase event that is open to the public, including parents, is the Friday evening Film Screening in the Montgomery Arts Theatre.

Please consider donating if you are able. Know that the Pegasus Pantry is available as a resource if you or your family are in need of any of the items. (Principal Williams will be providing details about how to do so.)
Donation Drop-off Hours Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM
Location Parents may bring donations to the school through the main entrance. Drop boxes will also be located in the Clinic with Nurse Wiley for students to bring and drop-off.
***SPECIAL DROP-OFF***Bring any of the above listed items to the PTSA meeting on November 11th at 6 PM. Donation boxes will be inside The Commons. Or to the Theatre Guild Meeting on November 11 at 7 pm.

If you are the parent or guardian of a Theatre Conservatory student you are invited to join the individual class Facebook group for additional information & updates about everything that is going on at Booker T.
All four class specific Facebook groups are private. These groups are open to members of the Theatre Guild and you will need to provide your BTW student's name and answer the questions in order for your request to join to be approved.
