PRESIDENT'S CORNER
January General Meeting
We hope you will join us for the first general membership meeting of 2024 this Tuesday evening after PTSA (approximately 7pm). In addition to hearing from board members about spring semester events and how you can become more involved in the guild, Mr. Miller will provide information about auditions for next year's Musical Theatre class that take place in February. In the event of a school closure that day for inclement weather, we will still meet via Zoom. See the newsletter for more details.
Don't miss the the creative production of A Midsummer Night's Dream that opens this Thursday in the MAT. Find a friend and sign up for a volunteer slot. Then, stay to watch the show. Information on signups and tickets below.
Join us in the Black Box to hear about what's going on in the Theatre Conservatory including the upcoming Musical Theatre Auditions and also to find out what the Guild will be doing spring semester. In case of school closure due to inclement weather, join us via Zoom using the following link:
Next school year's Musical Theatre Class Auditions are 1/31 & 2/1 for singing and 2/2 for dance! Want to learn more about Musical Theatre at Booker T? Attend the Theatre Guild meeting on Tuesday January 16th to hear Mr. Miller's presentation.
Pegasus in the Wild
We don't want to miss an appearance or accomplishment! We rely on our guild members to let us know where to spot a Pegasus in the wild. If your child is in a non-Booker T production, please let us know. Our talented kids are so busy we need your eyes and ears to make sure we get the word out. Please include viewing dates, ticket links and any other details that will help us spot a Pegasus in the Wild. Alumni are Pegasi as well so keep those tips coming in too!!!
You will be able to catch a few pegasi onstage next week in NTPA's Mean Girls, High School Version. Look for freshmen Hope Medrano, Audrey Hale, and Alex Reich. Hope and Audrey are the the Grool Cast (Thurs 7:15, Sat. 7:15, and Sun 1:15). Alex is in the Fetch Cast (Fri 7:15, Sat. 2:15, Sun 6:15).
If you are the parent or guardian of a Theatre Conservatory student you are invited to join the individual class Facebook group for additional information & updates about everything that is going on at Booker T.
All Facebook groups are private and you will need to provide your BTW student's name and answer the questions in order for your request to join to be approved.
