SUBJECT: Theatre Guild eNews - May 17TH - Year of Connecting and Reconnecting 💖

THANK YOU TO THE 2021-2022 THEATRE GUILD BOARD
I have had the opportunity to serve on many various boards -- some professional, some non-profit, some school-related. Among all of them, the 2021 - 2022 Theatre Guild Board members have been, without question, some of the most dedicated, passionate, and generous folks I have had the privilege of serving beside. This has been a year of adjusting to a new normal - coming back from off-campus learning, responding to ever-changing virus protocols, appreciating - more fully than ever - events we used to take for granted, and feeling the fragility of our being able to meet and be together in person. Our membership, and this Board, dodged, weaved, and pivoted to adjust and accommodate. I could not be more proud of our collective efforts.
Some call what happens at Booker T. "Magic". Maybe. "Magic" seems to frequently appear when a dedicated and generous group of like-minded people come together for a common, good purpose. If that's "Magic", let's be all in!
To each of our 2021-2022 Guild Board Members, thank you, thank you, thank you! Some will be around next year on our 2022-2023 Board. Some are moving on. Regardless, once a Booker T. Theatre Parent ... always a Booker T. Theatre Parent! THANK YOU for your extraordinary service.

YEAR OF CONNECTING & RECONNECTING AND NEW MEMBERSHIP STRUCTURE
On May 10th, the Theatre Guild held its final membership meeting and celebrated this past year of Connecting & Re-Connecting! We also shared a revamped Guild Membership Structure. The main objective of the changed membership structure is to afford all Theatre parents an opportunity to join the Guild and be in the communication loop about events and opportunities occurring within the Theatre Conservatory. Thank you in advance for re-newing your Theatre Guild Membership for 2022-2023!
Three primary changes:
#1: Any incoming Theatre parent/guardian who wishes to be a member of the Theatre Guild for the 2022-2023 school year may do so for FREE. The Guild just needs your name, name of your student, student grade level and preferred email address. This information can be added at the link provided below. Once we have your name, student's name and grade and your preferred email, you will be a member of the 2022 - 2023 Theatre Guild.
#2: As in the past, the Guild still relies heavily upon membership dues to support the Conservatory Faculty and Students' typical events and activities through the purchase of Membership Level Packages. For this coming year, the Membership Level Packages have been reorganized to allow for one-stop shopping. In other words, each Membership Level Package is now inclusive of your membership donation, along with the Guild's more popular swag items and a contribution for Feed the Kids. More details about each Membership Level Package can be found in the link provided below.
#3: Extra donations can be made by you for Feed the Kids and a new category, Angel Donor. Angel Donor offers you the opportunity to provide an extra amount of financial support to be used by the Guild to best address unexpected needs of the Conservatory Faculty or Students. This change also gives you the flexibility of making a donation amount of your choice as an Angel Donor or to the Feed the Kids program with or without also purchasing a Membership Level Package.
Please note that details or event dates may change so you should refer to the link to the online calendar for the most up-to-date information about all things Senior.
