THEATRE GUILD COLLEGE TEA. MAY 1, 2022. 2:00pm. MAT LOBBY
Don't believe the buzz...this isn't your grandma's tea party. There will be light refreshments served but don't count on a cuppa Earl Gray. Join us in the MAT Lobby to hear sage advice (or crazy anecdotes) from a panel of parents of Theatre seniors as they spill the tea about the college admissions and audition process. Come ready to ask all your questions about the entire college selection, application and decision process. Parents of 9th, 10th and 11th grade Theatre Conservatory students are welcome.
Please Sign Up Here to reserve your very own copy of the awesome handouts including all the definitions a soon-to-be-college-applicant needs to know from BFA to COA and NPC.
THEATRE GUILD SCHOLARSHIPS
Theatre Conservatory Seniors - applications are now available for the Louise Smith and Karon Cogdill Scholarships! Pick your application up in the Counselors Office or visit us online at
to download your forms and to see full requirements.
These scholarships are for Seniors planning to study theatre at an institute of higher learning in the Fall of 2022 and are due back by 5/2 to be announced at the Theatre Guild Senior Awards Dinner.
On behalf of the 2022 Theatre Guild and the Booker T. Theatre Conservatory Class of 2022, please consider a donation to the Theatre Guild's Senior Scholarship Fund. Each year, the Guild awards several scholarships to graduating seniors in honor of former Theatre Conservatory Directors Louise Smith and Karon Cogdill.
As part of Booker T. 100 Year Anniversary, the Guild has set a goal to expand the number of awarded scholarships and potentially increase the amount of each scholarship. The Guild's current goal is to raise $10,000.00, nearly doubling the Guild's historical scholarships!
The Guild appreciates your thoughtful consideration in coming alongside the Theatre Conservatory's Class of 2022! Together, we can positively impact these talented students' post-high school opportunities!! Much more detail in the attached flyer.
