Serving her 3^rd year on the Theatre Guild Board, Elly is currently responsible for playbill ads.  She is the proud mom of Ria, a theatre senior, and Ryan who is 22 and adulting in NYC, living the dream.  Her family are avid musical theatre enthusiasts, love Broadway and West End, and are huge fans of the DFW theatre community.  Elly is the Applications Marketing Director for DXC Technology, and her career spans 30+ years in IT, so she’s glad to have the arts balancing her life! 

Elly is active with North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA), where she has served the Governing Board for 13 years, currently as Vice President.  Elly and Ria are equally active volunteering as a Mother/Daughter team through the National Charity League (NCL), most recently with Soupmobile and Meals on Wheels.   Outside of school, work, and theatre, you’ll find Elly and family following their other passion of travel.  With recent COVID restrictions, they’ve doubled up on roadtrips and VRBOs – rounding off Elly’s 50 states (Ria’s at 49!).  Recently they’ve traveled everywhere from Maine to Washington, enjoying not only spectacular destinations such as Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone – but the untold glories of sites such as the world’s largest ball of twine, the Jolly Green Giant, and the hula hoop.

Jennifer Gilligan is our current Communications Laison who is in charge of our newsletter, social media, and website. Jennifer is co-owner of IntegraMSP, an IT company in downtown Dallas, where she also has a Marketing and Graphic Design leg of the business. Outside of work, Jennifer is a mother to Evelyn, a Theatre Sophomore, wife to Dan, and herder of their dog and two cats.  During the Covid lockdown in 2020, Jennifer started painting to ease the stress. She is excitedly preparing for her first gallery art show in February at Galeria Azur in Madrid, Spain.

Washington Theater Guild is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.  For contributions of $250.00 or more made to the Theatre Guild in the 2021-2022 calendar year, we are sending out tax deduction letters.  If you do not receive yours by Feb 1, please contact Julie Cash-Teague at treasurer@btwtheatreguild.com

Seniors & their parents are invited to join the private Facebook group Booker T Washington HSPVA Class of 2022.  This group will be used to provide information to seniors across all conservatories.  

Seniors & their parents are also invited to join the Theatre Guild Private Facebook group BTW Theatre Guild Class of 2022. This group will be used to provide information to seniors specifically for the Theatre Conservatory.

Guild is collecting photos of Theatre Conservatory students to keep in a centralized location accessible to our Theatre Community. If you took or have photos from Booker T.
