Pegasus Pickup / Flight School


Pegasus Pick-Up is the day when students pickup (or turn in) their laptop, pickup books & pay for parking passes if needed, get lockers if needed, & pick up schedules. It's a chance to sign up for Guilds and PTSA if you have not already done so. Also, new Booker T. merchandise will be available! Conservatory Directors and Counselors will be available to discuss schedules.


Flight School is for ALL new, incoming students (August 6th) & current sophomores that attended Booker T. last year (August 5th). Flight School is for students only.

YOUR HEADSHOT IS DIFFERENT FROM YOUR YEARBOOK SENIOR PORTRAIT!!!!

Your showcase headshot will be on the wall and in the digital showcase handbook.  You get a hard copy of the picture and a digital copy for college applications etc. 

 

The cost is $27.00 If anyone needs support, we are happy to help. Do not skip Headshot day because of the fee. See Mrs. Price with any concerns.

 

Please bring cash or check on the day of your headshot. (For checks leave the "Pay To The Order of" blank. The photographer will fill it in)  Venmo payments are acceptable.

 

Your Showcase Headshots will be taken on Registration Day for Seniors: MONDAY August 2, 2021 from 10:00am-2:00pm in the Black Box Theatre with Connie Roper Photography.

Helpful Hints - It is best to wear solid colors, no graphic wording. Avoid large jewelry, anything that’s not what you typically look like. You should look like this at senior showcase. 

 

Note- We ask that you not make drastic changes to hair between now and showcase so that you our easily recognizable to the colleges.

PTSA Corner

Hello Everyone, 

I can't believe school is starting soon.  I wanted to give you a few updates from the PTSA.  


All students cast or offered crew positions in Mamma Mia should have been contacted at this point.  Bruce Coleman will be directing the show.  Rehearsals are scheduled to start on August 2nd.  If your student is involved, they need to check their Remind messages to get updates on the details about rehearsals & the show. 


2021-22 PTSA Board has the following Board and Committee position openings: Parliamentarian, Hospitality, Fundraising Co-Chair, Parent Education and Membership Toolkit/Communication.
